You need to make the course visible to your students, to make the course visible:
- Go into your course
- At the top of the page, under the course title, select Settings
- Set the Course visibility drop-down list to Show
- Scroll down and click Save and display
You need to enable groups at the course level. The following instructions outline how to enable groups at the course level:
- Go into your course
- At the top of the page, under the course title, select Settings
- Scroll down and click the Groups heading to expand
- Select Separate groups or Visible groups from the Group mode drop-down list
- Scroll down and click Save and display
